About Us
Cowboy Way Adventures isn't your usual dude outfit with plodding, tired horses. All the horses used at Cowboy Way Adventures are real working cow horses off the ranch...with a side job. Your wrangler is an experienced cowboy who will make your ride enjoyable and safe. Plus, throw in some good stories to boot!
We have several different trails to ride depending on location.. from sandy bottomed washes edged with rocky cliffs, to open desert with views forever, to river crossings with beaver and hawks wheeling overhead, your horseback ride will be an experience you never forget.
Great care is taken in selecting the right horse for the rider's level of experience. We accommodate children or guests who have never ridden a horse before to experienced riders looking for a fun, responsive horse.
For the beginner rider, we have scenic rides that can be taken at a slow pace. For the advanced rider, we have more challenging rides that take you up and down hills and allow you to gallop in the sandy washes.
Wickenburg is just a short drive north from the Phoenix area. The desert is pristine, wildlife abounds and the air is clear. Temperatures are generally cooler in Wickenburg than down in Phoenix. Prescott is just another hour further north and is much cooler in the summer months.
